PROPOSES IN DENMARK. COPEJSTHAGE2ST, June 4. The Danish Commission on Punishment Laws recommended the abolition of capital punishment and the substitution of imprisonment for five years and upwards. There has been no execution in Denmark for 30 years, and there were only four in the previous 20 years. The abolition of corporal punishment, and. feeding on bread and water is also urged.
