THE SPTTZBERGEN PATROL.
THREE SEAPLANES SENT.
(Received 1.30 p.m.) CHKISTIANTA, June 4. A rteamer carrying three seaplanes to assist Captain AiMindsen's expedition sailed for Advent Bay, Spitzbergen, There one will be transferred to the natal transport. The other two will fly to King's Bay, from -where they will Wk further north. It is not intended to fly over the ice searching for Amund«n, irhich is considered practically impossible without landmarks, 'but the planes will patrol the tracks along the of the ice where Amundsen might » expected to descend. Captain Amundsen, it is anticipated, *>H start about June 20.—(United Service.)
