Their Excellencies Lord and Lady Jellicoe, attended the special divine service at St. Matthew's Church yesterday morning to commemorate the fiftyeighth birthday of King George. To-day the Governor-General attended the annual luncheon tendered to the King's Empire Veterans in the Town Hall. The Boy Scouts rally which was to have been held in the Domain this afternoon waa abandoned owing to bad weather. .An investiture and reception is to be held at Government House this evening.
