ANNUAL CONFERENCE.

The New Zealand Evangelistic and Publication Association are holdin<* a conference in West Street to-daj-. A change in the date of the conference from January to June was decided upon some months ago, as it was found that many members could not attend in January. The meetings were opened at 9 a.m. with a devotional service, led by Bro. H. Langford. from the Thames. At 10 a.m. the president, Bro. A. Page, opened the conference proceedings with a brief review of the work, of the past year, in which he thanked the members for their support during the time he had been in office.

The treasurer, Bro. C. Garratt, read the report and balance-sheet, 'which showed the finances of the church to be in a very satisfactory state. Reports were read by the various officers of the association dealing with the different departments under their control, all of which were very satisfactory. The afternoon was devoted to the reading of papers by Bro. C. C. Brown, the °Eev. Nicholls, of Takapuna, and H. Lan"ford, of Thames.
