Cumberland, Liverpool, July 2. i WAITEMATA ON TUESDAY. j The Waitemata is due to arrive at Auckland from Calcutta, via ports, at 3 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon. She will berth at the King's wharf. MAKURA DUE ON WEDNESDAY. The Union Company's mail steamer Makura was due to leave Sydney to-day for Auckland and Vancouver. She Is due to fcrrlve here on Wednesday morning, and •will berth at the Queen's wharf. She Is expected to sail the same morning for Vancouver. MATAKANA FOR LOADING. The Shaw, Savlll aud Albion steamer Matakana arrived at Auckland from Opua last evening, and berthed at the Central wharf this morning to load frozen meat and general cargo for Loudon. She will proceed to Whakatane and Wellington early next week to complete. THE LADY ROBERTS. Tho work of overhauling and refitting the Government steamer Lady Roberts Is being carried out by naval artificers from • tbe Philomel on tho patent slipway. A crew to take the steamer to Apia will arrive In Auckland from Samoa about the middle of the month. THE QUARANTINED PASSENGERS. The Auckland passengers from the Makura, who were detained in quarantine at Motulhl, were allowed to land In the port this morning. They were conveyed from the Island by ferry steamer, and were disembarked at the Queen's wharf. DEVON ARRIVES TUESDAY. A radio received by the New Zealand Shipping Company from the Federal liner Devon, states that this steamer will arrive at Auckland from London on Tuesday afternoon, June 5. She will anchor off Mutulhl to discharge about sixty tons of explosives before coming to Auckland. The steamer should berth here about Wednesday evening next to discharge a large general cargo from Home. Before proceeding southwards to continue discharge she will commence Homeward loading at this port, being here until about June 14. She will then proceed to Timaru and Dunedin. TAIROA LEAVES FOR SOUTH. The S.S. and A liner Tniroa left Auckland this morning for Wellington to continue discharge of cargo from Liverpool. Sbe will also discharge at Lyttelton and Dunedin, nnd will load subsequently at Port Chalmers. Bluff and Wellington. She Is due at Wellington on June 22. and will sail on June 27 for Lyttelton to fill up. From Lyttelton the Talroa is to depart on .Tune 30 for London, via Monte Video and Tenerlffe. The Koroniiko shifts from the King's to Western wharf this afternoon. The Kurow was due to leave Timaru at 4 o'clock this afternoon for Wellington. Tho Mako is due to arrive at Auckland this evening from East Coast ports. She will berth at the Queen's wharf. The Tiroa arrives from East Coast ports to-morrow, and will berth at the King's wharf. The Arahnra Is due to arrive at Auckland from Napier, via East Coast ports, tomorrow, with passengers and cargo. She will berth at the Central wharf. The Kaitoke is due to arrive at Auckland from Lyttelton at 5 p.m. on Monday She will berth at the Central wharf at 7 o'clock on Tuesday morning. The Canadian Government steamer, Canadian Seigneur, is now announced to leave Auckland at 7 o'clock to-morrow morning for Napier, where she continues loadiu_ for New York, Boston and Montreal. The Kaimanawa loads at Westport next Wednesday for Auckland. The Wnipori will also load there on the same day for Auckland, via Greymouth.
