HAWKER SENT TO GAOL. (By Telegrapo.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. At the Supreme Court to-day John Henry Johnßon, a hawker, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment for indecently assaulting a married woman at Petone. He had been previously convicted for a sexual offence. The Crown Prosecutor characterised the assault as a dastardly one.
