HUSBAND HANGS WTTE. BALL DRESS SET ON EIRE. GENEVA, May 24. M. Petersen. a wealthy Danish jeweller, saw his wife at a ball dancing with a handsome youth. He took her home in a frenzy of jealousy, hanged her in her ball frock before the sitting room fire, and then set her frock alight and wrote his justification for the deed. He sent a note to the police before hanging himself in his bedroom. —(A. and N.Z.)
