ATTACKED BY A COW.
BOY BADLY INJURED. SENSATION AT MORRINSVILLE. (By Telesrrapu.—Own Correspondent.) MORfUNSYILLE, this day. Wallace Davidson, the eight-year-old son of Mr. C. C. Davidson, was tossed by an infuriated cow in one of the main streets of the town yesterday afternoon. The cow had escaped from the Farmers' Auctioneering Company's stock yards, where a sale was being conducted, and, pursued by drovers, rushed down the main street, which at. the time was crowded with country visitors. After making attempts to toss a couple of children the cow turned into Studholme (Street, and rushed at Mr. Davidson's boy, who was caught in the back by the cow's horns and tossed several feet in the. air, falling on the broad of his back, the child is suffering from concussion, shock and injuries from the animal's horns. The father witnessed the accident, but was too far away to help his child.
