The Great Waikato
Hamilton The Hub
Wealthy District's Progress
Strength of the Auckland Province
Few towns in New Zealand have developed to the same remarkable extent and in as short a space of time as Hamilton has done. For one thing it is surrounded by land of singular fertility, which responds generously to energetic labour and scientific farming methods, while the genial climate must also be responsible for the wonderful prosperity of this dairy farm of the Dominion. At the Waikato Winter Show, which opens next Tuesday, May 29, will be seen the choicest fruits of the soil, all silently testifying to the wealth of the district and to the industry and scientific methods of the people whose early faith in their district has proved not misplaced.
