KILLED WHILE HUNTING.
INQUEST ON MRS. WYNN-BROWN. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. At the inquiry before Mr. H. A. Young, S.M., yesterday, into the cause of the death of Louisa Victoria Brown, wife of Mr. Wynn'Brown, master of the Waikato Hunt, who was killed in the hunting field at Tamahere on Wednesday, the evidence of the husband and of Mr. Harold Crowther, who were both near Mrs. Brown at the time, showed that her horse tripped just as it was about to rise at a fence, and stumbled, rolling over on to its rider, who died about ten minutes later. Dr. Waddell certified that the cause of death was consequent on a fractured skull. Deceased also sustained several fractured ribs. A verdict was returned that deceased met her death as a result of an accident in the hunting field.
