TAUMAKUNUL The annual meeting of the Ring Country District ttugby League was held on Tuesday night, Mr. W. E. Bate presiding. Tbero was a good attendance of delegate!, and the balance sheet for tbe past year was adopted. Mr. Langstone, M. P., Was elected patron, Mr. W. E. Bate, president and Mr. J. O'Connor secretary and treasurer. Mr. G. 11. Burtenshaw was elected a life mem!- --! ber of tbe League.. Several members B pofce ,of .the good work Mr. Burtqnshaw had done for the League code in the King Country. The -secretary was instructed to make arrangements to have the grounds put in order, and to arrange a match for next I Saturday)..
