TAKAPUNA METHODISTS.
THK NEW CHURCH SCHOOL. Ai a special meeting held last night of the trustees of Takapuna Methodist Church, arrangements were made for the opening ceremony, as the building is now approaching completion. June 20th was the date decided upon. The president of the N.Z. Conference, Rev. B. F. Rothwell, will conduct the dedicatory service on that date. A special Sunday School rally will be held on the following evening and the Sunday will also be devoted to three special services. The new building is situated on a three-quarter acre site on the main Takapuna road, at the corner of Tennyson Street. Tt will provide accommodation for 25(1 to :500 worshippers. The building includes a social hall, and I- class rooms. The total cost, including the site, is £5800. The building is a line structure of concrete, rough cast, with plaster in the interior. The erection of this cliurch school ■is part of a forward movement, 'and it is intended when funds are available to build a separate church building on the same section.
