SOMME BATTLEFIELD.
MEMORIAL AT AMIENS. (Received 11.30 a.m.) PARIS, May 3. An Anglo-French sanctuary in the form of a I'antheon with side chapels itto be erected near Amiens in memory of all the men killed in the Somme battles. French and British committees are raising funds. It is proposed that the names of all those killed should be written in
golden books kept in the side chapels. (Subscribers of £5 upwards are entitled to have one name engraved oh bronze tablets.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
