TREASURY NOTES STOLEN.
GANG ESCAPES WITH £17,500.
LONDON, April 13. Scotland Yard is engaged investigating a mysterious theft of the new issue of Treasury notes, valued at £17,500, from the Bradford Parcels Office. A bullion box forwarded from London was placed in the railway office on Tuesday and was. missed to-day. There are no sighs of the office having been broken into, and .the: theory is that the robbery was carried put. by a gang of experts who travelled, by the train by which the notes were carried and noticed where they -werestored.—(A. and N.Z.
