The Wanaka sailed this afternoon for Southern ports. Tbe Awahou sails for the East Coast this evening. The Springburn sails about 5 p.m. today for Nauru. The Opibi sailed this afternoon for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Canadian Seigneur sails for Brisbane between four and five this evening. The Wingatui left Onmaru at 11.30 a.*n. yesterday for Auckland, via ports. The Katoa left Dunedin Inst night for Auckland, via ports. The Knitangura loads n cargo of coal at Westport next Saturday for Auckland. The Karorl is expected to leave Whangarei at daylight tomorrow for Wellington. The Tiroa left Gisborne early to-day for Auckland, and should arrive here on Monday to discharge general cargo. The Kawatlrl will be due at Auckland on Monday from Tonga and will berth at the Kings wharf. The Mako berthed at the Central wharf this morning to load general cargo for the East Coast ba3s. She will sail on Monday evening. The Kainona is expected to leave Ptcton on Monday next for Onehunga. She proceeds from the latter port to Westport. WAIMARINO FOR NEWCASTLE. The Union Company advise that the departure of the Waimarlno for Newcastle has been postponed until noon on .Monday. She will take an Australian mail. THE THAMES SERVICE. The Wakatere has been chartered by the Thames Old Boys' Association to make a special trip from Thames to Auckland on Saturday, April 21. She returns to Thames, leaving Auckland at 5.30 p.m., on the 22nd. H.M.s. LABURNUM RETURNED. H.M.S. Laburnum, which sailed on a two months' cruise of southern ports In February, returned this morning, having visited all the more Important points on the east and west coasts. She passed Tlri at 0 a.m. anil arrived at the Dock wharf at 0 a.m. and was iloated In for cleaning and painting shortly before noon. HOUTO COMPLETED OVERHAUL. Tlie East Coast Shipping Company's auxiliary schooner Houto completed her annual survey and overhaul yesterday and came up to the King's wharf last evening. Early this morning stie proceeded to Islington Bay to adlust her compasses and returned to the King's wharf a few hours later to load general cargo for Tauranga. She is to sail on Monday. DORSET IN ROUGH WEATHER. A wireless message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the Dorset, en route from Southampton to Wellington, is encountering heavy westerly storms, which will prevent her from arrlvln_ in the stream at Wellington before Sunday night or Monday morning. The Dorset cleared Southampton on February 20, and will thus have taken 55 days to make the voyage. She has third-class passengers to disembark at Wellington, immediately after which she will proceed to Lyttelton to commence discharge of her cargo. PORT NICHOLSON LOADING. Arriving from Wangannl three-quarters of an hour after midnight the C. and D. liner Port Nicholson anchored ln the stream until T a.m., when she berthed at tbe eastern end of the Queen's wharf to load produce and general cargo for London ta the agency of the Farmers* Cooperative Auctioneering Company.
