A tramp, charged with drunkenness at Leamington 'Spa, had ln his possession £50 the result, he said, of 20 years' saving. In fining him 10/, the chairman of tha magistrates suggested the defendant should put £1 ln the poor box. "I'll give £2, sir." the tramp repUtf.
