THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS
Tiie following resolution was carried unanimously at the recent conference of the Congregational I'nion in Auckland: •'This Council of the Congregational I'nion of New Zealand would record Us profound sense of the potency of the League of Nations in the solution of delicate international problems, and of, its vast potentialities as an instrument for the manifestation of the mind of Christ and realisation of the Divine Kingdom on earth, and does most, earnestly impress upon the ministers of our churches that they should expound and enforce its meaning to their people, and further to suggest to the churches that they should become each of them branches of the League of Nations Union of their respective provinces." A copy of this resolution was forwarded to the Prime Minister and Sir Francis Dillon Bell.
