HARBOUR BOARD ELECTIONS
.Air. Wm. Blomfield, ex-Mayor of Takapnna, lias consented to stand for the Tiikapuna Boroujrh and Waiteniata County seat on the Auckland Harbour Board iat the forthcoming election a month hence. ~S\x. H. H. Adams, the present member, is not seeking re-election Two other candidates are also announced for thio constituency, viz., Me.ssr*. R. J. Kanies (Greenliithe) and Marshall La ing (Xew Lynn).
Kor the other North Shore harbour hoard representation, Mr. A. E. Greensladc, ex-Mayor of Northcote, will contest the combined Devonport, Northcote and Rirkcnhead boroughs' seat, now held by Mr. John Henderson.
Messrs. Wm. Wallace and K. W. Inder E ; re definitely announced for the city seat.
