! The Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister of 1 Public Works and Postmaster-! Jennral. I who arrived at Auckland yesterday from ! the North after a week's tour, left for j Morrinsville this morning. To-morrow-he will proceed overland to Xew Ply- ' mouth, and on Thursday Mr. Coates will declare the new Awakino Valley Roa<l open, which will shorten the distance between Te Kuiti and Xew Plymouth. The opuning ceremony will be marked by a luncheon. ;
