BURGLARY AT MANUREWA.
GROCERY STORE ENTERED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent. MAXUREWA, this day. The premises of G. A. Robertson, grocer, of Station Road, Mantiretti, were broken into on Sunday night. Ths sum of 15/ in coppers and a quantity o! tobacco were stolen. The thieves mads an entrance by the front door, using a pick to prise it open. A lady living alone on the adjoining premises heard the thieves, but was apparently too frightened to give an alarm. This lady heard the movements of a horse and cart in the road and the voices of the men. This town has been particularly exempt from robbery of late.
