RACES AT NEW PLYMOUTH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday. The New Plymouth motor-cycle race* were held to-day on the racecourse in showery weather before an attendance or 4000. Interest was lessened in the chief events owing to Coleman, who was present, being unable to ride owing to bis machine having l.een put out of action during a preliminary. In the seventh nice he rode ou Stratton's machine and won. During the afternoon. Mr. Galsford, president of the New Zealand Motorcycling I'nlon, presented Coleman with certificates crediting him with the world's grass trark records established by him at Takapuna recently over one mile from a Dying start and 15 miles. Results:—
