The new Maori church at firakei, which was opened by Mr. (bene Paul on the 2:>rd of March, is capable of seating 150 people. The cost was t4OO. As this church is an undenominational one it has been decided to vary the services, as Europeans of various creeds contributed towards the cost. The fir-t Sunday will be Anglican, then in succession it is Mr. Paul's intention to hold services as fellows:—Evangelical Cniun, Methodist, Catholic and Mormon.
