JUST THE MAN.
WHY SLR JOSEPH lIL'ST WIN. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.'T TAURAXGA, this day. Sir Joseph Ward has received nianT communications expressing tho sincere hopef that he will be returned to Parliament. The following from a wellknown trader dealing in butter and cheese factory supplies is typical: - "Dear Sir Joseph,—The writer take-* the liberty of addressing you to express the wish that the electors of Tauranga, will have tiiiflicient sagacity and exercise it on polling day to return you as their member. There never was a time in the history of this Dominion when the need for statesmen was more pressing. New Zealand has been without your priding hand too long, and the omsequcnt results do not need instancing. The present Government sadly lacks administrative ability in finance and commercial matters, and Parliament seems to lack to soundly criticise Reform administration. Your return will remedy this lamentable state of affairs. T am sure there are thousands of commercial men in this Dominion who share my views."
