MAN FALLS FORTY FEET. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TE AWAML'TU, Friday. Mr. Darey Jones, manager of the sawmill at Pirongia, was to-day riding on a truck load of log 3. He overbalanced and fell head foremost into a dry creek bed, 40ft. below. He had a miraculous escape from death. Both forearms were broken, and Mr. Jonea sustained bruises about the head and shoulders. He was removed to the Waiknto Hospital.
