THE DISSOLUTION BOGY.
WHY IT PAXtS FI-AT. SIR JOSEPH SPEAKS OUT. (Ry Telegraph.—?pei'i.-il to "Stnr.") TAURANGA Friday. I lie dissolution boey was again exposed by Sir Joseph Ward when addressing a meeting of settlers at Tauriko this afternoon. "They say it is not advisable for mc to get into Parliament." he said. ''Why they say it I don't know, except that they say I am a very strong man. The whole Imnd are against me.' The Prime Minister, the Minister of Education, and thrc other members are thrown against mc. Their expressed opinion—T think for the purpose of winnine the election— is that if I am returned their majority will lie reduced to one. and if my onpnnent is returned they will have a mi iority of three. What a frail majority when, if out of the three, there are three members of the party opposed to them. If T am returned they will hnvp a majority of one. anl they say the difference between three and one. under tho circumstances. is so important that they should keep mc out and have three weaker men instead- -men Ihey perhaps think they can twist nbont fi they like.
