Andrews said it was not desirable to luintt children into the city to attend pictures, paying their tram fares and admission, and it was particularly objectionable to sujgest free admission to children unable to pay. Mr. \V. A. Banks moved, "that leave be given to try the scheme where committees anrl teacher.; are agreeable, the board reserving the right to cancel permission." Mr. Ranks' amendment was carried by six to four.
