TWO ACCIDENTS.
A watersider working at a hatchway on the Canadian Pioneer this mornin" had his right ankle caught in a hatch beam, with the result that it was fractured. The injured worker. Mr. Joseph Williams, of No. 3, Scarborough Terrace. Parnell. is a married man. aged 53 years.' He was admitted to the hospital at 10.4,5 a.m.
A sixteen-year-old coppersmith. John Ross, of Glenfield. Birkenhead, employed by Messrs. A. and T. Burt, was rolling some copper boilers this morning, when his right hand became entangled in the machinery, with the result that it was badly crushed, necessitating th* lad's remoal to the hospital,
