The following prizes will be offered p competition: Best decorated boat, Z, V* aU classes . 25 guineas; best _T^ ra i7 d . dinghy ' 5 gu'neas; best decor««a 14 footer, new set of sails; polo proa .trophy value 7 guineas; greasy "MB, 3 guineas trophy. No entrance «« will be charged and all launch and fc~,\ owners are to be approached to Participate in the carnival. tt wa ß also decided that there would « a Neptune's Court, tug-of-war, on ""*; tub race, and other novelties jew to Auckland. Musical parties will enaer items during the evening from aecorated boats and the Chineso residents have undertaken to arrange for » Chinese junk.
