MARKETING OF WHEAT.

SEASON'S PRICES FIXED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The following agreement reached between millers and wheat growers for the marketing of wheat for the present season, was reported to the Farmer's' Union to-day: Tuscan, 5/1; Hunters, 5/3; Pearl, 5/5. In addition to these prices millers are to pay 2d a bushel for the creation of a fund to administer the agreement, which will remain in force till February, 1924, subject to certain conditions. It will be ineffective if the embargo against importation of flour is lifted, or if the Government fixes lower maximum prices per ton than £15 10/ for flour, £5 for bran, aud £7 for pollard.
