OPIUM PROSECUTIONS.
SIX CIIIXESK CHARGED. (By Teletrmph-Press Association.) U'ELLIXGTOX. this day. Six Chinamen appeared in court this morning on charge relating to aiuokinc and l*ing in possession of opium! Detectives gave evidenw that one Chinaman, when a raiil was made. offered £15 hush money. The Chinamen, when in the witness box. maintained that the detectives when offered £13 said it was not enough, that they wanted £.jO. The case was adjourned till this afternoon.
