POST OFFICE THEFTS.
YOUTHFUL POSTAL EMPLOYEE. Patrick Francis McAnnally, a 17-year-old youth, pleaded guilty in the Police Court to having, at Manurewa, when engaged in delivery work, stolen a postal packet containing a money-order for £5 and a packet containing a 5/ postal note: also with having secreted 50 postal packets and illegally detained 100 odd packets of advertising matter. He was committed to the Supreme Court 'for sentence.
