IRISH CUSTOMS DUTIES.
LEVIED ON ENGLISH IMPORTS.: RARRIER ON THE NORTH. ' LONDON, February 23. The Free State Revenue Commissioners have promulgated regulations under which customs duties will he collected from April 1 on all dutiable commodities coming from outside countries, including Britain and Northern Ireland. This will necessitate the establishment, of a customs frontier, which will temporarily be placed along the boundary between the six counties and the Free State. Farm produce will be exempted. It is reported that Belfast commercial men are. not perturbed. Ulster's trade with the Free State being only ten per cent of the total. Armed men burned the mansion of Earl Bessborough at Piltown.— (A. and ~S.Z. Cable.)
