. RESULT OF ELECTION. (By Telegraph.—Own KAITAIA, Saturday. The first town hoard election took place yesterday, and resulted as follows: —L. H. Bell SO votes, F. H. !?. Matthews SO, J. T. B. Taaffe 78, V. Holder (iti. .1. H. Bedggood 63, A. .1. North wood -Jn. V Bigg-Wither 46. The first, five named were declared duly elected. Dm of :S.">2 names of electors on the roll only 102 votes were recorded.
