Hlntz two seconds, and Mr. H. D. Bennett one second. Fat Sheep—Mr. \V. Reid secured nine first awards, eeven seconds, and two thirds. Other successful exhibitors being:—Mr. K. Wilkie a first, second, and third: Mr. I. Muuro' one second: Mr. H. D. Bennett, one third- and Mr. A. K. Overtoil, one third. Fat Lambs.—Mr. H. D. Reid, two nrsts and three seconds, and three thirds; uud Mr. P. Munro, one first. HOME INDUSTRIES. MrR M Bennett won most of the first prizes lv the cookery classes, her tiret awards totalling sixteen. Other successful exhibitors who were awarded first prizes n-ere: —Miss B. Blcknell (three), and Miss Gordon (one). In the classes for girls under sixteen, Mies Clarice* Bennett was awarded three firsts and one third, securing the points prize, and Miss Eunice Blcknell secured one first prize, and Miss Gamby and Miss Scott one second prize each. For preserves and pickles, Mrs. M. Bennett secured four first prizes, and two second prizes. Mrs. J. Dnnlop was awarded two 'firsts, one second, and one third; Mrs. A. E Sam way s, two first*, one second, and one third; Mrs. D. Broome, one first; Mrs. McNickle, one first; and Mrs. ft. Ormond, one second prize. Mr. V. Gray secured both the awards lor honey, and Miss B. Bicknell the first prize Xor separator butter. FRUIT AND VEGETABLES. For apples and pears, Mrs. A. W. Bicknell secured all the first awards, and MUs Rita Adle the first prize for cooking plums. The prizes for vegetables were pretty evenly divided between Mr. J. Quirk, Mrs. D. Boome, and E. W. Mercer. Other successful exhibitors being:—Mrs. R. Wilkie, J. Law, Mrs. Guthrie. Mrs. McNickle, Mrs. W. J. Coutte, and Mr. C. E. Wilson. The only school represented in the schools section was Ohutu school, which was I awarded first prize for a fine collection of vegetables.
