YOUNG GIRL ASSAULTED.
A MONTH TO REMEMBER. Roy Harris (28) said he did not re member anything about it when charged in the Police Court with having assaulted a young girl named Lil> Jones. It was stated that Harris har caught up to the girl in Wellesley Street on Saturday afternoon and put his arm: around her. She tore herself away, anc the accused then gave her a vicious kick j bruising her leg and tearing her stock ling"There is too much of this chasing : girls by drunken men," said the Magistrate. ■trate. who sentenced Harris (previouslj j convicted of assault, among othel things), to a month's imprisonment.
