The Kalwarra leaves .Newcastle to-night for Auckland. The schooner Maroro sailed for GleTjorne this morning. The Pukaki la expected to sail for Sydney next Wednesday with general cargo. The scow Sea Gull arrived yesterday with a cargo of timber from Whltlanga. The Ronaki, Endeavour, and Huon Belle arrived yesterday from Mahurangi with cement. The schooner Iluia came oft the slipway thie morning, and is to continue her overhaul next week. The steamer Tlroa Bailed at mid-day to-day with general cargo for Hicks' Bay The Kawatiri sailed this afternoon for Gisborne and Napier with about 3500 tone of Newcastle coal to discharge. She discharged about 800 tons at Auckland. The Rira will leave for Maraiti on Monday to load explosives, and will sail on Tueeday for New Plymouth, Westport and Greymouth. The Mako ie due from the East Coast to-night, and will berth at the Western wharf to discharge benzine. The Awahou is now berthed at the Queens wharf. Powell. arrived at Auckland* this morning from the East Coast to the agency of Messrs. A. O. Frankham. Ltd. She was last eeen here more than ten years ago. when owned by the Northern 'Coal Company, and has since been largely engaged in coastal trade to Westport and Greymouth and other West Coast ports from Hawke's Bay to Wellington. Her present, charter expires at the end of March, and in the meantime she Is expected to make several visits to Auckland. She can carry ISC tons of cargo and steams about nine knots. 50 hours owing to strong head winds. On her return to Gisborne, via Tokomaru Baj and Tolago Bay. the Ttaden Powell Is expected to fiail on Tuesday next.
