A WIN FOR VICTORIA. SEVEN WICKETS IN HAND. tßeceived 9.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. The match between Victoria and New South Wales was concluded yesterday. The weather was fine and the wicket in good order when the match was resumed. Victoria hit off the 178 runs required to win for the loss of three wickets, thus winning by seven wickets. The batsmen were very cautious throughout the innings, and scoring was very slow. Ryder scored 36, Hartkopf 17, Park 30 (not out) and Woodfull 80 (not out). — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
