YACHTSMEN ENTERTAINED.

{By Telegraph.—O<ra CorreaDonflent.) TAURANGA. this day. The visiting yachtsmen were entertained by the Regatta Club at a smoke concert last evening. Mr. B. C. Bobbins (presiding) welcomed the visitors, and loped they -would come again next year. Mr. H. R. Mackenzie (chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board) replied. He eaid the conduct of the regatta reflected great credit on the committee. The gold cup was a unique and valuable trophy "which would always attract Auckland yachtsmen. The gold cup was presented 'to Mr. L. A. Tercel, skipper of the Restless, and the champion flag, to Mr. H. R. Mackenzie on behalf of the lorangi. the first boat to finish. Messrs. E. V. Miller, W. A. Wilkinson, J. 0. Hewson, and other visitors commended the regatta officials on the success of the reaatta, especially praising the efforts of Mr. Colin Morris in inaugurating the ocean race.
