SPORTS AT TAURAKGA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAURANGA, Wednesday. There was a good attendance on the , Tauraoga Racecourse yesterday; when the, Te Hula Motor Cycle Club held a sports meeting. Some interesting racing was witnessed. Results :— Novice Handicap, four laps. —H. Barke 1. .T. McLeod 2. Middle-weight Handicap, five lap*.— J. M<-Leod 1, J. Petherbridge 2. Tauranga Amateur Cup Championship.— W. G. Cartwrlght 1, M. P. Mtinro 2, J. McLeod'3. There were seven starters. Back-Number Championship, three laps. A. Hynds 1. J. McLeod 2. Bicycle Handicap.—A. Harper. Side Car Handicap.—W. Q. Cartwrlght 1, L. Edwards 2. Bending Race.—A. Hynils 1. Slow Hare.—A. Hyndn 1. During the running of the Cup G. L. Inwood met wicli a mishap, end sustained a broken collarbone.
