. m Recent arrivals at the <\'rand Hotel include Mr. W. R. Kemball. Masterton, and T. A. Duncan, of Hunterville. Dr. P. Marshall and Mr. R. T. .Marshall, of Wellington, are on a visit to Auckland, and arc at the Royal Hotel. Mr. J. L. Webb, who arrived from Christchurah this morning, is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. R. Gibbs, auditor of the .Bank of New Zealand, has returned to the Dominion from a vkit 16 (Jreat Britain. The Hon, L. J. Clifford left by the Main Trunk express last evening for Wellington. Tlie Government printer, Mr. W. A. G. Skinner, accompanied by Mrs. Skinner, arrived at Auckland yesterday from Wellington. Messrs. W._Hurdley, R. Hampton, of Christchurch, F. A. Abatt, of England, and A. Israel, of Sydney, are among those at present staying at I'argen. The Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister of Public Works, accompanied by Mrs. Coates, arrived in Auckland from Wellington this morning. They are staying at the Grand Hotel. Dr. H. Kenrick Christie, formerly a house surgeon at the Dunedin Hospital, and latterly demonstrator in anatomy at the Otago University, has passed the examination for the Fellowship of the Royal College of iSurgeons.
