"Not Reform" complains of railway charges. To travel from Te Kuiti to Auckland by the express he found was to lose the advantage of the excursion fares, but on boarding the train, which was full, he was subjected to a surcharge of 6/2 on his second-class tickets, because the train was composed of firstclass carriages, and then he had to stand on the platform as far as Frankton.
