SLY-GROG.
THIRD OFFENCE ALLEGED. [RESTAUItANT-KKEI'ER COMMITTED. Having twice previously been convicted of eollinß liquor without a license, Cormack O'Rorke, fit the Stars and Stripes restaurant. Victoria Street, was charged for the third time at the Police Court this afternoon for the same offence. Mr. Hogg appeared fur the accused. — Evidence was piven that police in plain clothes went to the aecu-edV restaurant, under instructions from Sersieant Flanagan, and purchased lipit and whisky, which they paid for with a bank note, the number of which had Ivcn noted. As this was an alleged third offence, and indictable, accused's solicitor elected to go to the Supreme Court, to which the accused was committed on bail.
