A WELLINGTON BANKRUPTCY.
DEBTOR FiAIT,S TO APPEAK. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.! WETjUN'CTOV this day. Ufarold Richard Peard, due for public examination in bankruptcy, has again failed to appear at the Supreme Court to-day. Council for the Official Assignee said it was reported that a police sergeant in Auckland had seen Peard aboard a steamer leaving for Sydney, ■but his name was not in the passenger list. The case was adjourned sine die to enable the assignee to make _ any necessary application. Council said it was alleged that Peard had committed extraditable offences.
