SHARLAXD COMPANY'S REPORT. | A FAVOURABLE TEAR. The twenty-fourth annual balance-sheet and report of directors of Sharland and I Co just issued shows, as anticipated, a more favourable result than that of the previous year. After providing for all bad and doubtful debts, lull depreciation of premises and plant, taking stock at saleable values, and Government war HtocK under market price, as well ac payment of interim dividend, there remains a balance of £9.K20 14/8 to be dealt with, including the mim of £ 2060 14/1 brought forward from last years account.
