SEX HYGIENE IN SCHOOLS.
(To the Editor.) i Sir, —I was literally astounded at your report of a case in a recent issue, in which it appeared that "instruction ; in sex hygiene had been given to girls I attending school by a male teacher." I wonder how many people rubbed their eyes and read that once more to make sure no "printer's error" was leading fchem astray? There is but one word for an education "system" which can permit such a thing to happen. That word is "damnable." Any Minister ; Education who countenanced it shou.'d be asked to resign at once, and it is extraordinary to find any male teacher prepared to give such instruction. With Arbitration Courts to maintain wages on an entirely artificial basis the people of this country have Inst all backbone. I should like to find out how they lost all sense of morality. That is conceding they ever had it to'lose. I have an idea . this same precious education system has: had a lot to do with it. Aiiyiiow the j result is uncouthness, lack of individuality through want of idealism, and! paganism.—I am, etc., CLEF.
