The Australian League team compiled a cricket score against a New Zealand team here to-day, when they scored 87 points to their opponents' 1-8. The match was played before 'MOO spectators, the weather being tine and the ground In good order. The New Zealand team was a very weak combination, and when it took the Held Included several local players who were not up to the standard of representative football. The Kangaroos simply ran over the opposition from start to finish, and scored when and where they liked. The tackling of the New Zealandcrs was very feeble, ami Caples had no difficulty In handing off four or five players before being compelled to pass. Craig, Latta, OVonuor, and Robinson also scored. Craig converted all the tries except three, and at half-time the score was: Australia 39, New Zealand 5. The second spell wis a repetition of the first. The Australians played brilliant foot ball, but met with little opposition, and the New Zealanders tired very perceptibly. Within a few minutes of the kick-off Horder was across the line, and Craig piloted the ball over the nar. Australia 44. New Zealand 5. At this stage 'Bennett (New Zealand) and Tye (Australia) were ordered off the field by the referee.
