UNIFICATION OF CHINA.
SUN VAT SEN'S AIM. AN UNFETTERED PARLIAMENT (Received 10.30 a.m.) SHANGHAI, August 1.-.. Dr. Sun Vat Pen has arrived here from Hongkong, and has conferred with the National political leaders and members of the Kuo Mm Tang clans, who favour tilt peaceful unification of China on a I constitutional Dr. Sun, in the | course of a statement, said that when Parliament was functioning unfettered the <'onstitutionalist aim would he accomplished. He was prepared to abide by Parliament's decision. Dr. Sun declared that he asked for n passage from Canton in an American warship, but was refused. He then took a British gunboat.— (A. ami X.Z.)
