Very little change has been observed in the heisrht of the barometer during tl c ast three day,. Yesterday a downward tendency commenced at noon, but it did not continue more than an hour or so and just before noon to-day the barometer rose again to the height at which t stood 24 hours previously, namely 20.S inches. The most notable change in the weather was the increase in the velocity of the wind yesterday, but during this morning it had abated again and was I3j[ht from the south-east.
