THIEF BREAKS DOOR LOCK. A Hupmobile motor car. valued at £700. whs stolen last night from the garage of the owner, Mr. N. 11. Han us n. .-.. Ac.n-v R-.ail. Remuera. The car was greenish grey in colour and \v?s registered A7IBU, the maker's number being U.'lS.Mli, and v.a- a three seator with a col.nihil 1.:,,1,. Oh f our of t j„, wheelwen- (■'••::.e.u- diamond tread tyres ami .' similar - .ay tire and wheel was attached ;n the rear of the ea". Above tl-P radiator i;i the fruit of the car was an eiiaincllci !! in an enamelled blue circle about 2j inches In diameter. Tvo gli-s Mind deflectors were attached to either side of the wind-screen, and on Ihe upper pari uf the rear of the car u.i- a dour covered with ribbed rubber snrrounde i by a. vailing. T-i is stated thai the ear was taken out of the gamin- by breaking the lock • ; -ii held the doors.
