Garvan. former alien property custodian, who is now president uf'the Chemical Foundation, alleges that a committee of (Jerinan dye magnates now in the United States, with lawyers retained by them, visited the I Attorney-General at Washington just I prior to the receni inauguration of Mr. I Hnrding-'s policy favouring the return of 4747 German dye and drug patents sold by Mr. Garvan as alien property custodian to the Chemical Foundation for j £2."i0.000. j Following Mr Garvan'e statement lawyers representing German interests have issued a statement, in which they admit that they met the Attorney-General in an effort to obtain return of the patents, but they declare that the United States !
